Day two – Trott opens for England. 33 balls later Trott is finally off the mark with one run.

It took Tamim 34 balls to get his 50!  At the end of day two Trotty is still there; 64 runs off of 64 overs.  Did you think test cricket was going to be a breeze for England in Bangladesh?

Bangladesh – conditions that just cry out for two spinners.  England have finally chosen to play Tredders.  A maiden over to start, to tame the Bangladesh batting juggernaut [and for the first hour, that was the fine force that is Tamim Iqbal;  85 off of 71 deliveries!] .  With two wickets for his first day James made an excellent start.

Always known as an outstanding fielder, Colly took his 100th ODI catch today, Mahmudallah off of Swanns bowling. He also contributed to England’s win by top scoring with 75 runs.

This winter in ODI’s he’s passed the 100 wickets milestone.  He also has over 4500 runs on the clock.  A truly outstanding English all-rounder.

Liam has been with the England limited overs and Test squads all winter.  Today he got his first  tour match.  He scored some runs and took a couple of wickets.  Apart from a couple of matches with the EPPs he has had no proper cricket all winter.  That can’t be good for anyone.
